The John Walker King George V Whisky is a special edition from Johnnie Walker made from some of Johnnie Walker's rarest and most exceptional whiskies. A special extension of the Johnnie Walker range, King George V celebrates the first Royal Warrant granted to John Walker & Sons in 1920. King George V Whisky is a blend of carefully selected whiskies from Scotland's finest distilleries, married together in perfect harmony. The resulting whisky is a rich, smooth and velvety dram with a long, lingering finish. The rich, full-bodied flavor of the whisky is derived from a high proportion of malt whiskies, which give it a smooth and complex character. The whisky is then matured in a combination of American oak and European oak casks, which impart a subtle sweetness and spice notes.
